I generally despise peppermint flavored things. Peppermint gum. Peppermint candy canes. Peppermint flavored mints. Peppermint this and peppermint that.

However...

I have discovered I rather like ‘old fashioned’ peppermint sticks. These things are sugar, peppermint oil and red food coloring. Very good and somewhat chewy/brittle (as opposed to normal candy canes which are hard to bite and shatter), I love these things! I only found them recently (they’re Bob’s Brand candy)... I haven't seen these in the store in awhile, so I think maybe I'll have to look online to see if they still make them. And, if so, maybe purchase some on Amazon or something.
